Mr Reko Hynönen

Reko Hynönen is a member of a magnetic team led by prof. Tanskanen. Reko is currently finishing his PhD thesis at Aalto university on solar wind ULF waves and ground pulsations. Reko will plan to join to SGO at Oulu university for his post-doc period. Reko has developed methods for identifying geomagnetic pulsations from different resolution data. Reko’s responsibility is to improve the method for geomagnetic pulsations and take care of the data handling and delivery to the PITHIANRF.

In PITHIA-NRF Mr. Reko Hynönen is responsible for data handling, registration and validation of data and data-products (Pc5 pulsations) with an allocation of 25% of full-time employment.
