Main tasks

ORB has strong expertise with GNSS data analysis in real time and provides via its website information of the state of ionosphere above Europe and alert concerning the fade out of C/N0 parameters due to SRBs. ORB is also known for its specialisation in solar data analysis (images, timelines), its operation of space based and ground-based instruments. It has also an expertise on operational space weather forecasts and dissemination, exploitation, outreach. In that frame, ORB is part of the PECASUS by managing data flow in real-time and providing lecturer to the forecasters. Additionally, the ORB organised the European Space Weather Week (ESSW) for many years and chair many scientific sessions in different international symposiums. All of this will be useful for the different tasks foreseen in WP3 and WP6 related to dissemination and model/data provider.
