The EGI Foundation coordinates the delivery of the EGI Infrastructure that brings together more than 300 data centres worldwide and also includes the largest community cloud federation in Europe with 21 cloud providers across 12 European countries offering IaaS cloud and storage services. The Infrastructure includes the ‘EGI Notebooks service’, a customized and EOSC-compliant JupyterHub that is open for researchers on the scalable EGI IaaS cloud. A new instance of the EGI Notebooks service will be prepared for PITHIA-NRF and will be hosted on fit-for-purpose EGI cloud site(s) to underpin the PITHIA e-science centre.
